Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and the team captain for the 2012's Fierce Five, and the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman is a gymnast from the United America who was awarded gold medals at the 2012 Olympics. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to earn the most number of medals at the Olympics. The 2016 Olympics included her winning gold in the team competition, which earned Gabby as well as Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to win consecutive gold medals for a team. Also, she received silvers in the individual all around event and for floor work. After the 2 Olympics she had taken off from competitive gymnastics for three years. The gold medal she won for the American team also won 2 World Championships. She learned gymnastics from the age of 2 and her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. In the future, she plans to make a career from fashion. She would also like to increase the length of her leotards and socks. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be released later in the year.
